Playing Rules
- Play will be team based elimination format
- Each win is worth 1 (one) point. Ties and losses are worth 0 (Zero) points. If time limit expires, the team with most remaining players will be awarded the win
- Each Win is 3 points, a Tie is 1 point, and a Loss is 0 points. At the end of the match, the team with the most live players is awarded the win.
- At the end of league, in case of a tie, the team with the highest amount of eliminations will be awarded the win, and if still tied, the lowest amount of elminated teammates will win
- Points accumulate throughout the season to dictate the seeding for the playoffs
- Strictly Field Paint Only. Paint from previous weeks of league play is NOT PERMISSABLE. Pesky insurance.
- Failure to be on the playing field when the game starts will result in a forfeit; if both teams are absent the game will be cancelled; no points awarded, no eliminations awarded
- Markers may be of any type, provided their firing mode and velocity can be locked into Semi-Automatic firing and prevented from on-field velocity adjusting
- If at any time a team needs a substitute player, they are permitted one player from another team, provided the player wishes to join the team. No additional players may be used for substitution and must have the head ref's approval
- To adjust players into a Xball tournament format, there will be a strict 5 minute gap between games. Time will only be shortened if both full teams report to the field.
- Markers are limited to 285fps and are subject to checking from referees. Point deductions or ejections may be used for markers which are deemed to be unsafe or in an illegal firing mode.
- There is no sideline reffing permitted at any time. If one team is receiving help from a sideline ref, the players on the field are subject to being pulled.
- (Added 6/26) Penalties are going to be levied this time; Playing On, Wiping, Ramping, High Velocity, etc. are all enforced. They will be penalized and defined as such:
- Playing On- 2-for-1 (player and one teammate pulled)- Defined as playing in the game in excess of 3 seconds with an obvious hit on the player. An obvious hit is defined as any hit to the front of the body or any part of the marker system (hopper, marker, tank). How to avoid- if you think you were hit, call a ref for a paint check. Further, use your hand to check for paint on the location of the hit, but do not do so that would appear to be wiping
- Wiping- 2-for-1 (player and closest teammate pulled)- Defined as intentionally removing a hit from the player during a game, by using body, gear, or field to do so. Rubbing against a bunker, diving on the ground, wiping with hand or tank, etc.
- Ramping- Match forfeit (if winning team) or two point deduction (if losing team)- Defined as the marker being in any firing mode other than semi-automatic. Semi-automatic markers will fire one shot per pull of the trigger unassissted; bouncing markers also fall under the definition of Ramping
- High Velocity- Match forfeit (if winning team) or 2 point deduction (if losing team)- Defined as marker being in excess of 285fps
- TO ENSURE THAT YOUR MARKER IS NOT ADJUSTED PRIOR TO POST-GAME CHECK, ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIERED TO LEAVE THEIR MARKERS BEHIND THE START STATION UPON ELIMINATION
- Rules will be updated as deemed necessary
*These rules and details are subject to change at any time, and Crusader Paintball is not requiered to notify of any changes. Any changes will first be announced on this website as well as the Crusader Facebook account*
